Oh the shame.

See, I'm not sure if I actually have my much dignity to enjoy left at my work now. I always, always embarrass myself rather badly. Like the time when I took the payment from a guest, pressed "payment accepted", dropped a coin, bent down to get it, only to get hit in the head by the cashier box flying open. I fell, disappeared from view behind the cashier line, got up, fixed my hair and gave the change back.

I've opened the door to our toilets and found a guset doing their, errhm, stuff, more timers than I can count to. Once I tripped over a colleagues foot and flew the entire length of our cashier desk. I've been looked inside the tiny room wher you take the payment for the Drive Trough, and finally got saved by my oh-so-hot boss, who was laughing himself to tears.

And today, I kneeled to open up a box, one of my work mates walked by and pushed me slightly with his foot, only for the fun of it, and I fell on my ass. I then got pulled up by that very same oh-so hot-boss.

Oh, and did I tell you about that time when the ice cream machine broke down and sprayed me down with that cream thing we make the ice cream of?

Back home

So, I managed to stomp through the snow-mud covering Gävle's streets in my high heels with at least some dignity left, one has to be happy for the small things in life. Met up Marty for a quick round at Systembolaget, the poor lady behind the desk must have thought we had severe alcohol problems, and yes, I can imagine that the sight of two young blonde girls carrying over 30 bottles of alcohol out from the store on a regular Monday might have been a little suspicious.

Continued to my grandmother to check if she was okay, bless the old lady, she couldnt really remember if she had been eating, so I bought her some chinese food to be sure. I then sat at her apartment, read my book and chatted for a while, to keep her company. Feels really nice to see her get so happy! She doesnt really remember how old she turned at her birthday, but its 88 and I can't appreciate enough how clear she actually is despite that. A little vimsical, but clear.

I then went to my friends place, and we had a girls night, just chatting, eating sandwiches and watching tv. Was great, but I totally forgot about time, and that I was actually going by bus and therefore didn't have my car with me. Dad wasnt TOO pleased when he had to pick me up after I had missed the last bus...

Snowstorm

I looked out the window, and no, it hasn't stopped yet. This is the third day in a row when it is snowing. I wont be able to get out of the house soon. Now that's funny. Or not. Its quite pretty though, I just don't look forward to when I have to drag my expensive shoes through those masses of snow.

So, Oscars yesterday, not many surprises, Amy Adams wore the worst necklace I've ever seen, and I could hunt down Vanessa Hudgens to steal her dress. Marchesa. Beyonce wore some terrible tablecloth, and Nathalie Portman looked just... Amazing.

Ah well, enough of the Glamour, I'm out to shovel my way to the bus stop!

Match day!

Oh sweet heavens, its match day. Pool takes on City at Anfield, and we have no Xabi. My nerves are playing games with me, evil mind games. And as soon as I get nervous, I nest. Thing is, I haven't got much to do right now. I will probably end up curling my hair or something equally stupid to calm my spinning brain. I really hope Danny will play, he is just perfect, both eyecandy and a great player! Gimme. :D

Come here...

Come on over to the dark side boys. We have cookies. And light green lace thongs.

My wish for you

I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow
And each road leads you where you want to go
And if you’re faced with the choice and you have to choose
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you
And if one door opens to another door closed
I hope you keep on walkin’ ‘til you find the window
If it’s cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile
But more than anything, more than anything
My wish for you
Is that this life becomes all that you want it to
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small
You never need to carry more than you can hold
And while you’re out there gettin’ where you’re gettin’ to
I hope you know somebody loves you
And wants the same things too
Yeah, this is my wish

Housewife

Based on the quite medieval views on women in general, that they should stay at home and take care of family and house, I might be the best housewife ever. It is, to be fair, my target in life to get married to Nando, birth his kids and cook him his dinner every night. And then go to bed... (Damn you, ugly evil fringe woman for destroying that! Zorra...)

Anyway.

I love to bake and cook, I'm quite good at it! I life for organising my wardrobe, I dance with the hover and I love to to the laundry. Which is what I just did. It's so fun to organise all the clothes into neat piles of white, black and coloured, put them in and watch them go all clean and fresh, so I can organise them into the wardrobe again. Oh the joy. In true fashionista manner, I wash all my lace-y underwear by hand, so they won't get destroyed in the machine.

I also love to watch football, so hey, where are all the men?

Fancy

Just found this pic, kind of proof on what a camera whore I am. I made the up do myself and I guess I wanted to save the result in some way. Hehe. I've never been able to do a french twist on myself, and I don't know how much better this went. But it looksrather nice.

Quite a mess

This is what I should be doing. Cleaning up my mess. This is usually the reason girls "have nothing to wear". Bloody hard to find something when everything is in a pile on you arm chair...

Chic?

I've just finished reading a Swedish book called "Chic- Den kompletta garderoben", which basically means "Chic - the Complet Wardrobe", and honestly. The writer, some woman called Katarina Ericsson Wärn, thinks you should always dress up, even when you're at home. No sweatpants, no hoodies, And God forbid you should wear printed t-shirt. Noo no no. Those clothes are apparently only meant to do sports in, and she seems to prefer you don't wear them then either. (She recommends a smart track suit, I'd guess a matchy one) The only time you can wear these kind of things seems to be when you paint the house. I'll remember that the next time I decide to break loose on out brick-walled house. Its a nice and rather endearing vision this, to always dress up nicely and never look shabby, but still. I love clothes, I have loads and loads and then some, and I lost control of my shoe collection long ago, but every time I get home, I pull them off and get dressed in sweatpants, my Nando t-shirt that my best friend J gave to me, and a hoodie. I take out the contacts, put on my glasses, pull my hair up in a ponytail and then I fall down in the sofa to watch tv or use Sanz, my laptop. (No one will ever see me on webcam, I promise) And I still call myself a fashionista, just not when I'm at home. I rarely wear underwear at home either, because lets face it, push up bras are uncomfortable. Now maybe some of you choke on you food/drinks, but what? No one will see me anyway.

Now, I do admit that I maybe should have listened to that advice and always dress up at home, when I answered the door a week ago and found myself face to face with a young, hot electrician. Well thank you.
